Aligner Instructions

How to Wear and Care for your Aligners

  Wearing and using your aligners
Wear your aligners 21-22 hours per day. Change your aligners weekly, unless instructed otherwise. Remove for eating and drinking anything other than plain water and to clean. Place in provided aligner case when not wearing aligners. If you have dogs or cats, we recommend putting your case in a drawer or cabinet, animals like to chew through the case to get to the aligners. Please brush your teeth before putting aligners back in to avoid and decay or white spots that may form on your teeth. Brush your aligners with a tooth brush, tooth paste, and cool water to clean them. Do not use hot water, do not boil, or use harsh chemicals to clean aligners this will damage them.

Aligner Inserting
When inserting aligners gently push the aligners over the front teeth, then apply equal pressure to the sides to place. Do not bite aligners to place, this can damage the aligners.

Aligner Removal
On one side of your mouth, use your finger tip on the inside of your back molar to slowly pull the aligner off of your molar. Repeat this process on the other side of your mouth before trying to completely remove aligner. Once aligner is disengaged from the molars on both sides, you should be able to slowly work your way forward gently prying the aligner away from your teeth with your fingertips.
